Things are getting ugly all around the world. Natural disasters I could understand, but manmade problems are just incomprehensible. How did we get to this point? Did we inherit the world from our parents? Did they contribute to the problems of today? Did WE contribute? What are we leaving our children?
Apparently you can get more things done through facebook, twitter and blogs. Live changing events are attributed to the advent of social networking. Give me a break! If the impact is so powerful, everyone should read my blogs, Twitter and FB postings, and the world will be a better place. Each one of us have strong opinions about everything. Social networking allows people with the same views to feel belonged. Just because you have 15,487 likes does not mean the whole world agrees with you.
Whatever is happening around the world was going to happen anyway. Social networking merely facilitated them, not cause them.
